Medical Design: From Home Healthcare Devices To The Operating Room of the Future: Featuring Dr. Noemi Bitterman,  Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 7:30 am at the Illinois Science + Technology Park, 8045 Lamon Ave, A/B Conference room, Skokie, IL 60077.

Dr. Noemi Bitterman is the head of the Technion’s Industrial Design Program at the Faculty of Architecture & Town Planning, where she is also a senior research fellow.  Her research focuses on the design aspects of medical technology and innovation including health care services, the operating room of the future, and Internet and e-healthcare, particularly for the elderly and disabled. Her years in the navy continue to shape her research interests; she is investigating how people perform underwater and in high pressures and extreme environments.  Sponsored by.
